Romantic Intimate Wedding in Quidi Vidi, Newfoundland

M and N are from another province and decided to have a destination wedding here in Newfoundland. They wanted a laid back day with their family and friends with an intimate ceremony and then some drinks at Quidi Vidi.

They started their day hanging out with some friends at Blue on Water. It is the perfect space for getting ready photos. It has lots of natural light and a central location. While they got ready together, the groom left before M changed into her dress. It’s always so special when the couple sees each other for the first time walking up the aisle.

When planning an outdoor wedding in Newfoundland, there’s always the chance that it could be stormy or rainy. Thankfully on the day of their wedding it was warm and sunny and the perfect day for outdoor photos. They had their intimate ceremony on the cliffs of Cuckolds Cove. The bride walked down the rocky aisle to Lana Del Rey (Who is one of my favorite artists). It was such a romantic moment and set the mood for their day. After their ceremony they decided to share vows privately with each other. This seems to be a trend this year and I love it. It’s such a special moment to photograph and for you to enjoy a few moments alone.

After their ceremony we explored cuckolds cove and walked around Quidi Vidi before heading to the brewery where they celebrated with their loved ones. It was such a laid back day and the perfect way for them to celebrate their love.
